Shaaban Ibrahim Sharada, the Action Democratic Party’s governorship candidate and a member of the House of Representatives for Municipal Federal Constituency, has congratulated Dr Aminu Magashi on his birthday on October 17th.
The ADP Governorship candidate stated in a special message issued by his Gubernatorial Campaign Council Spokesman, Abbas Yushau Yusuf to Kano newsmen that ‘at a time when health care delivery in Kano and Nigeria requires serious revamp, Dr. Aminu Magashi’s contribution to the sector cannot be over empahsized.’
“Aminu Magashi’s contribution is exceptional among his contemporaries. This is because of his work as the founder and coordinator of the Africa Health Budget Network, a regional think tank that uses budget advocacy to influence adequate health spending and improve transparency and accountability.
This, he says, is a well-conceived idea that can be used and exploited by those who want to lead Kano, including him, in overhauling the dying state’s health-care system.”
Dr. Magashi, according to Shaaban Sharada, as the Global Co-convener of the Community of Practitioners on Accountability and Social Action in Health, has ideas that go beyond the international arena and can be used to touch the lives of ordinary people affected by a fragile health-care system.
The ADP Gubernatorial Candidate stated that the campaign council, municipal constituents, and his family join Dr Magashi’s colleagues and medical practitioners in wishing him Allah’s guidance as he clocks the age of 49.
Dr. Magashi has enlightened and continues to enlighten the general public on how to best safeguard their health, according to Shaaban Sharada.
“The medical expert has used health communication techniques to reach out to a larger population, and his reward will only be quantified by the Almighty Allah.”
Shaaban Ibrahim Sharada also wished him a happy birthday, prosperous years, and continued service to humanity.
