The Kano Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC, Nasiru Gawuna has wished Kano Governor-elect, Abba Kabir Yusuf well as he gets set to take over the mantle of leadership in the state.
Nasiru Gawuna in a audio message disseminated through his Press Secretary, Hassan Musa Fagge said the presentation of Certificate of Return to the Governor-elect by Independent National Electoral Commission INEC further affirms his victory at the recent concluded Governorship polls in Kano.

The Kano APC Guber candidate who spoke in Hausa said:
I, Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, the deputy governor of Kano State and the flagbearer of the APC in the recent concluded governorship elections.
I extend my gratitude to Allah and also my commendation to the good people of Kano state for coming out en masse to cast their ballots in our favour.
You are all aware that we have forwarded our petitions and complains to INEC and demanded for a review. Where there are irregularities, conduct supplementary polls. But INEC had presented Certificate of Return to the winner which further affirms his victory.
I want to state here that, in the past, we have asked God to give us the mantle of leadership if it will be of greatness to the people, and if it will not be, God should change it with that which is the best for the people.
I therefore call on the people especially supporters of the APC to remain calm and be amongst those who accept defeat that comes from God.
We pray that the winner be a good leader who will be just to all.
I pray that we become law abiding citizens.
I pray that Allah grant us peace and stability in Kano and Nigeria as a whole.
