Tukur Garba Arab, a Kano-born broadcaster, has been named Head of Voice of Nigeria (VON) Hausa Service.

Daily News 24 reports that Arab is to head the Hausa Service of Abuja and Lagos Bureau.

The hand-over was made at the end of an extensive management training in Abuja on Thursday.

Arab was previously the Kano State Reporter for Voice of Nigeria.

He was also the Vice Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Kano Correspondents’ Chapel.
