The Kano State Fire Service says it has saved 12 persons and property worth N130 million from 78 fire incidents recorded in March.
The Public Relations Officer of the Service, Alhaji Saminu Abdullahi, disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Kano.

Abdullahi also said that 10 persons died, while property worth N71 million were destroyed by fire during the period.
“The service responded to 27 rescue calls and 11 false alarms from residents of the state,” he said.
He advised the general public to handle fire with care.
