Kano State Government (KNSG) has approved the promotion of 152 staff in the mainstream of the civil service for the month of February, 2022.

The Chairman Civil service Commission, Engr Bello Mohammad Kiru announced this at the routine commission exercise meeting for senior staff promotion exercise held at the conference hall of the commission.

The Chairman further explained that 66 number of those promoted are between grade level 08 – 09, 35 are from grade level 10 to above while one person from grade level 15 to 16 who is aspiring for a Directorship respectively.

Engr Kiru maintained that promotion is a privilege therefore charged those opportune to be promoted at this crucial moment to be more alive and innovative to their duties, since there is more expectation on them.

He commended the present sterling administration of Governor Ganduje for people’s oriented projects.

Earlier, in his remark the Permanent Secretary of the commission Alh sani Abdullahi kofar mata, represented by the Director Administration Salahuddeen Habib Isa dwelt on the performance of the commission members and enjoined them to observed ethics of the civil service rules for effective and efficient service delivery.
