The Kano State Government has announced a relaxation of the curfew to six hours, from 8 AM to 2 PM.

The announcement was made by the Commissioner for Information, Baba Dantiye in an audio message shared to Daily News 24.

The curfew, initially imposed by Governor Abba Yusuf, followed massive protests and looting in the state.

The Police authorities had arrested 326 suspected looters following attack on NCC Industrial Park, Kano High Court and Kano Printing Press among other public and private property.
