“You see the governor is not only my boss, but like a father to me, hence I have to take whatever he tells me.
“Governor Ganduje is the same person that gave me this position of Managing Director that has improved my status politically.
“Honestly, i will not go contrary to whatever decision the governor made on my resignation because he knows the best for me,” Dan-Agundi said.
Recall that the KAROTA Managing Director was reported to tender his resignation letter to governor Abdullahi Ganduje on Monday following the provision of a new law in the electoral act that prohibits political appointees from voting and be voted for at the convention or congress of any political party for the purpose of nomination of candidates for any election.
The reports say Dan-Agundi is in the UAE to inform the Governor and seek for his consent on his next political move.
Politics Digest reported that the KAROTA may be contesting for State Assembly in Kano Municipal.
