Right Activist and former Senator who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Shehu Sani has made a mockery of political drama that is unfolding in Kano State, Northwest Nigeria.
The former federal lawmaker wondered how it is possible for a candidate who lost an election would congratulate the winner and, later take him to court for election robbery, rigging and manipulation.

Recall that the governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress APC in the state lost the election to the candidate of the New Nigerian People’s Party NNPP in the March 18 governorship and states Houses of Assembly elections.
Some contestants for the state House of Assembly were also said to have lost their elections to candidates of the new party which is spearheaded by the former governor of the state, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso who is also the presidential candidate of the party in the February 25 election.
The Candidate of the APC, and the state deputy governor, Nasiru Gawuna had congratulated the candidate of the NNPP as governor-elect.
The ruling party in the state later filed a lawsuit to challenge the outcome of the election claiming it was rigged for the winner.
Reacting to the development, Shehu Sani said: “Kano is a weird, unconscionable and ungentlemanly case of handshake and handcuffs;
“They congratulated the winner and then took him to Court.”
The erstwhile Senator made this reaction on his verified twitter handle on Thursday morning.
