Suleiman Isah, a Kano resident who married an American Chef, Janine Reimann, has joined the United States Army.
Mr Isah, who was then 23, married Ms Reiman, who was 46, on December 13, 2020 in a wedding fatiha that took place at Zawaciki, Panshekara, Kano state, Northwest Nigeria.

Ten months before their wedding, the two lovebirds met on the social media platform Instagram and exchanged messages with Ms Reiman travelling to Nigeria from California for the wedding ceremony.
On Friday, Mr Suleiman posted a portrait of himself wearing the uniform of the United States on his Facebook page.
