He further explained that the party will prioritize selecting leaders known for their integrity and dedication to public service.
As part of a strategic development plan, Kibiya shared that the PDP intends to engage professionals from various sectors to collaborate on a 10-year development program for Kano.
“This initiative, developed with input from Kano residents, will be central to the party’s agenda,” he added, noting that all candidates, including gubernatorial aspirants, will be expected to commit to the plan if elected, ensuring it aligns with the needs and aspirations of Kano’s citizens.
Kibiya highlighted the party’s focus on tackling critical state issues, stating, “We will provide a platform to discuss the challenges facing Kano, including leadership crises, institutional relationships, and pressing social, educational, religious, and economic issues.”
The PDP’s five-point agenda represents a significant move to restore public trust and position the party as a proactive force for change in Kano State.
