The Kano state police has arrested 30 year old Abdullahi Sabo of Daura LGA, Katsina State who was alleged to have stolen an N8,500,000 Honda Accord 2017 Model.

Sabo was arrested at Daura in possession of the stolen Motor Vehicle, as he confessed to have stolen the Vehicle at Carwash in Kano where he was hired to wash the car.

Daily News24 learnt that upon invitation by the police, the owner of the car wash claimed to have hired the service of Sabo as a cleaner in the Carwash which is located at Maidile Quarters, Kumbotso LGA, Kano State, without knowing his identity. adding that he left him alone based on trust at the Carwash center where he made away with the said customer’s Motor Vehicle.

As CP Sama’ila Shu’aibu Dikko, fsi, the commissioner of Police, Kano State Command,  raised and instructed a team of Operation Puff Adder led by CSP Alabi Lateef to recover the Car and arrest the culprit, Daura was arrested in possession of the car, of which he confessed to have carted away the vehicle with an intent to steal it.

The Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, warned that, criminals will have no hiding place in Kano State. “They are advised to either repent or leave the State completely. Otherwise, they will be arrested and face the full wrath of the Law.” he said.

He further  urged residents to pray for the State, the Nation and report incidences to the nearest Police Station and not to take laws into their hands.
