The Commissioner for Tourism and Culture Alhaji Ibrahim Ahmed Karaye has described workers in the state as a tool for building a better society.
The Commissioner disclosed this at a light reception organised in honour of the retired permanent secretary of the ministry held at the ministry conference hall who attained 35 years in active service.
Ibrahim Karaye describes the retired permanent secretary as a cool headed and complete gentleman.

He urged him to maintain the trend.
He then charge workers in the ministry to emulate the leadership style of the Permanent Secretary by committing themselves to duties diligently with decorum for them to earn respect, trust and above all confidence in the mind of high authority where they belong.
In their separate remarks, the Managing Director Tourism Board Alhaji Yusuf Ibrahim Lajawa, Managing Director, Kano Zoological garden and Executive Secretary History and Culture Bureau as well as representative from the Nigeria Tourism Development Corporation (NTDC) wished him a successful life after retirement.
Responding the retired permanent secretary, Zakari Sadiq Buda, expressed appreciation for the warm reception organised by the ministry in recognition of his contribution and selfless services rendered as a pioneer permanent secretary of the Ministry.
He then commended the support given to him by the commissioner as a motivating factor leading to his success in the ministry and thanked all staff in the ministry for their loyalty and cooperation.
