Kano Old Science Students Association Dawakin Tofa class 93 Chapter has elected Engr. Nura Mu’az as the Chairman of the chapter for a two-year tenure.
Engr. Nura was elected during the association’s annual general meeting (AGM) held in Kano.
The association also elected Sabi’u Kiru (Vice-Chairman), Nura T Yahya (Secretary), Aliyu Mahmud (Asst Secretary), Engr. Nasiru Sani (Financial Secretary), Nazir Abba (Treasurer), Idris Getso (Welfare), Adamu Dangalan (PRO).

Engr. Nura Mu’az attended Gawuna Primary school from 1981-1987. Science College Dawakin Tofa 1991-1993.
Then he proceeded to Bayero University from 1994-2000, where he obtained Bachelor of Engineering Mechanical.
He holds MSc. Gas Engineering from University of Salford, UK in 2009, and PhD from University Teknologi Malaysia 2021.
Nura Mu’az worked with Peugeot Automobiles (PAN) Kaduna, AQA Manchester, UK and Kano Science Board.
Currently, he is a senior lecturer at Kano University of Science and Technology, Wudil.
