Kidnappers have demanded N100m to free a former aide to Ondo State Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.

Mr. Richard Omosehin was kidnapped by gunmen who stormed his residence at Igbekebo, headquarters of Ese Odo Local Government Area.

Sources said the assailants came on a speed boat and went to Omosehin’a residence where he was dragged into the boat and taken away.

“The incident happened at about 2am on Saturday. People invited the police but by the time they arrived at the place, the kidnappers had taken the man away, “ a source said.

Monarch of Igbekebo town, Oba Simon Dabo, who spoke in a radio programme, said the victim was allowed to call his wife, saying the kidnappers were demanding N100 million for his release.

The Nation reports the Police spokesperson, Funmilayo Odunlami saying efforts were on to set the man free.
