Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has sharply criticized the Federal Government for its handling of rice palliative distribution and security management in Kano State.
In a statement on social media, Kwankwaso expressed frustration that Kano was the only state excluded from receiving its share of palliative rice, which was instead given to APC members. He condemned this as a severe breach of democratic principles and partisanship.
Kwankwaso also voiced concerns over frequent changes in the leadership of the Department of State Services (DSS) in Kano, noting that the state has seen three different DSS directors in just two weeks.

He warned that these changes are adversely affecting the state’s security.
Kwankwaso has called on President Bola Tinubu to address these issues urgently to prevent further erosion of democratic values. The Federal Government has yet to comment on his allegations.
