Former Kano State Governor, Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has condemned those he describes as enemies of the state, accusing them of subverting justice and creating chaos.
Daily News 24 reports that Kwankwaso delivered the message while speaking at the sixth Sallah gala event organized by the Kwankwasiyya Foundation on Tuesday, at his residence in Miller Road, Bompai, Kano.

“In the 2023 elections, we won overwhelmingly, but enemies of the state worked hard to subvert justice. However, Allah ensured that justice prevailed,” Kwankwaso stated, highlighting recent attempts to undermine justice in the state.
He, however, warned that the said individuals are now trying to interfere with the emirate council.
The former governor’s comments come amid tensions following Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s decision to reinstate former Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, reversing the previous administration’s decision to split the emirate council into five emirates.
Kwankwaso also expressed gratitude to those supporting the government’s position and praised the event’s organizers and performers.
“I thank the people who stand with the government’s position, as well as the event organizers and artists who made the event a success with their excellent performances,” he said.
Kwankwaso’s address calls for justice and peace, urging the people of Kano to remain vigilant against those who seek to disrupt the state’s harmony.
