Kylian Mbappe, who moved to Real Madrid this summer and has already secured a UEFA Super Cup title, saw his account spread bizarre content. Posts included derogatory comments about Lionel Messi and false claims about a potential transfer to Manchester United.
One post read: “Cristiano Ronaldo is the greatest football player of all time. The midget [Lionel Messi] is NOT my goat,” while another teased: “Yo @ManCity… lool baited I’m going to @ManUTD. 2028 LET’S RUN IT UP ON A FREE TRANSFERRRR.”
The account also made disparaging remarks about Tottenham and endorsed a fan account. The Mirror reported that the hack involved the ‘MBAPPE’ crypto token, which saw its value surge and then collapse rapidly.
All posts have been deleted, and Mbappe has not yet commented on the incident. The hack seems to be part of a larger crypto scam affecting high-profile users. Fans reacted strongly, with some criticizing Mbappe’s PR team and others finding humor in the situation.
