I am writing to bring to your attention the neglected state of the Mahaha Sports Arena, also known as the Kofar Na’isa Sports Center, situated at Kano Municipal Local Government.
As a concerned citizen, I urge you to take immediate action to revive this important facility for the benefit of the people of Kano State, outsiders, and the local community, and to generate much-needed revenue for the state.
The Mahaha sports field has been a vital component of our community for many years since it was allocated as a sports coliseum by the former Kano state governor, Dr. Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso.
The field has become the only hope for people in the state for their sports activities as a result of the Ganduje administration’s encroachment on public fields.
Reviving the field will assist in providing a venue for sports activities and generating revenue for the state.
Under the outgoing government, however, the arena has suffered from a lack of investment and maintenance.
The infrastructure is in dire need of repairs, and the equipment is outdated and inadequate.
As a result, the arena has become unusable for sports activities, depriving the community of a valuable asset and reducing revenue for the state.
The revival of this sports arena is essential for the physical and mental well-being of the community, as well as for generating revenue for the state.
The arena has been a hub for sporting events, promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles for all ages.
It has also been a source of revenue for the state, attracting visitors and generating income for local businesses.
I urge you to prioritize its revival as a key agenda item for your administration.
This can be achieved through a combination of government funding, private investment, and community involvement.
With your support, we can transform the arena into a state-of-the-art facility that will once again be a source of pride for the community and generate much-needed revenue for the state.
Thank you!
