A 35-year-old man, Abidemi Oluwaseun is in police net after he invaded Baptist Girls College Idi-Aba, Abeokuta Ogun State, with thugs to attack a teacher, who he said beat his 15-years-old daughter.
Police said Oluwaseun was nabbed alongside two others, Fayesele Olabanji (25 years) and Alebiosu Quawiyu (24 years).
The Police Public Relations Officer in Ogun State, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said on Tuesday that the principal of Baptist Girls College Idi-Aba, Abeokuta, had informed the police that the trio stormed the school with an unregistered vehicle, armed with brand new cutlass and threatening to hack down a teacher.

According to Oyeyemi, the DPO Kemta division, CSP Opebiyi Sunday, immediately mobilized his men to the scene, where the three were arrested within the school premises.
“During interrogation, Abidemi Oluwaseun confirmed hiring the other two men to the school to teach the teacher who beat his daughter a lesson of his life,” Oyeyemi explained.
He added that preliminary investigation had revealed that, while the teacher was teaching, some of the students, including the suspect’s daughter, were mocking him, distracting other students.
He said the teacher had flogged them as a corrective measure, but the suspect’s daughter went home and reported to her father, who was said to have mobilized two thugs to the school with a cutlass.
Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, Lanre Bankole, said the suspects be properly investigated and charged to court as soon as possible, warning against such unruly behaviour in any public or private institution.
