Manchester City midfielder Rodri has claimed the prestigious Ballon d’Or, emerging as this year’s winner after a strong competition.

The Spanish international surpassed the Real Madrid trio of Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Junior, and Dani Carvajal in the race for the award.

Rodri’s achievement makes him only the second Premier League player in 16 years to win the Ballon d’Or, following Cristiano Ronaldo’s victory in 2008 during his time with Manchester United.
