The children of Kano politicians under the auspices of Kano Youth Political Forum stormed Kano Municipal Council secretariat to thank the local government chairman Hon. Faizu Alfindiki for appointing chairman of the Forum Mukhtar Dauda Raula as his Senior Special Assistant on Youth Mobilization.

The entourage consist family, friends, relatives of the celebrant Mukhtar Dauda Raula and members of Kano Youth Political Forum led by Vice Chairman Kano Central Muhammad Abdullahi Abbas and Organizing Secretary Abdullahi Sidi Ali.

Earlier, the Vice Chairman of the Forum Muhammad Abdullahi Abbas stated the purpose of the visit “Mr Chairman we come to congratulate you on emerging victorious at the recently concluded local government elections and to thank you for appointing one of us as your SSA Youth Mobilization. This is a commendable effort, which is indeed a giant stride towards actualizing youth participation in politics.

On his part, the newly appointed Senior Special Assistant to the Kano Municipal Chairman on Youth Mobilization Hon. Mukhtar Dauda Raula reiterated his commitments towards mobilizing youth in Kano Municipal and Kano State at large so as to solidly defend and consolidate the good efforts of Kano State government under the leadership of His Excellency Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.

He also appealed to the Chairman as a matter of urgency to set up a committee that would checkmate all the companies in the local government to make sure that they are following the Federal Character Commission rules of public employment which stated that higher percentage of every company or industry most be the residents of the community. Adding that ” This will help to drastically reduce the rate of unemployment and will pave way for our youths to get more opportunities within and outside Kano”.

While delivering his remarks, the Executive Chairman of Kano Municipal Hon. Faizu Alfindiki thanked the Kano Youth Political Forum for the wonderful visit expressing that ” This is a wonderful visit from this youth organization which most of the members are children of well-known politicians not only in Kano but the whole country. Am excited to see that you are all young men full vision and mission. With the people like you, I believe our party is safe. Therefore i will inform the Kano state governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje about this forum and good work you are doing towards the success of this administration”.

It would be recalled that on 19th March, 2021 the Executive chairman of Kano Municipal announced the appointment of Mukhtar Dauda Raula as his Senior Special Assistant on Youth Mobilization.

Mukhtar Dauda Raula holds Bsc. Economics from Alqalam University, Katsina.

He is founding father and the pioneer Chairman of the Kano Youth Political Forum, an association formed by the children of bigwig politicians in Kano where he recorded unprecedented achievements within shortest period as the chairman of the Forum, ranging from mobilizing politicians children to actively participate in politics, hosting first Kano youth conference, playing a key role in reconciling Malam Ibrahim Shekarau political camp and Abdulmajid Dan Bilki, as well as drastically reducing the rate of political thuggery and drug abuse through media discussions and programs.
