Kano’s All Progressive Congress (APC) aspirant for chairmanship of the party Alhaji Ahmadu Haruna Zago who is also currently serving as the Senior Special Adviser (SSA) to Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje on Food Security has revealed that his ultimate goal if elected as the state chairman is to lead the party to victory in 2023.
The former member of the 2019 APC Presidential campaign committee disclosed this during an exclusive chat with Daily trust in Kano.
According to him, he had been part of the party’s success since its creation to date, adding that success has been the party’s second name and that he wanted to be part of every success the party will record.
Mr Dan Zago who was the state party chairman of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) further revealed that despite all odds akin to aspiration, he is optimistic that the party in Kano state has been enjoying a good relationship with the good people of the state stressing that the state administration under Governor Ganduje has done a lot in the state’s socio-economic growth as well as other sector’s development.
“With my wealth of experience, my dream is to take our beloved party to victory in 2023 and I am very much optimistic that the party in Kano state has been enjoying a good relationship with the good people of the state especially under the administration of Governor Ganduje,” he said.
