The National Examination Council (NECO) has recorded a sharp rise in the number of malpractice cases in the 2022 External Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE), with 11,419 cases of malpractice recorded.

The Council has also blacklisted four supervisors for aiding and abetting and for poor performance during the external examination.

The NECO Registrar and Chief Executive Officer, Professor Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi, disclosed this when he released the 2022 SSCE External results at the NECO Headquarters in Minna.
