The Regional Manager, Dangote Fertilizer Limited(DFL), Agbana Isaac Oladele said the new Fertilizer plant of the Company is expected to manufacture 3 Million Metric tonnes of Fertilizers per annum.

Oladele who stated this at the Official presentation of the Dangote Urea Fertilizer, during the Dangote Special at the 43rd Kaduna International Trade Fair, noted that, currently it has the capacity to push out a minimum of 120 trucks per day.

He explained that the 3Million Metric tonnes can meet both local demand and also for export to other West African countries, which he said will generate $400 million annually.

He said the uniqueness of the fertilizer plant aside from the fact that it is producing, it also focuses on supporting farmers’ training, education and development.

He further disclosed that the Conglomerate is establishing laboratories across the country, and even mobile laboratories where they can drive around and take soil samples for proper examination to effectively grow the agricultural outputs across the country.

Oladele said the Dangote Urea fertilizer is affordable and available to famers, help eradicate influence of middle men and improve product efficiency through research, innovation and the latest technology.

He concluded that the Urea fertilizer is soil friendly and has no negative impact on the farmer’s land.

Speaking earlier, the Executive Director of Dangote Group, Engr. Mansur Ahmed said the Conglomerate is working round the clock to make lives easier and better for Nigeria through their products.

He disclosed that soon the Dangote Petroleum product will hit the market, and Nigerians will forget about Fuel scarcity.

Engr. Ahmed also said the refinery when operational, will reduce importation of Petroleum products into the African Continents by 36%.

“The quality of Nigeria refined Petroleum today is called Euro 3 or Euro 4, our Plant is built Euro 5. Euro 5 is the highest quality of Petroleum products that is used in Europe, so, our intention is that, when you take our Product to Europe, you will be able to sell as if it is their own product.

“That is our commitment, and that is why I can assure you that both in terms of quality and availability, when the Dangote refinery comes on stream, Nigerians can forget about shortage and can forget about smelling products”, he said.
