I have finally completed the undergraduate Journey I started in 2015, and proved to the world that delay is not denial,” she wrote on LinkedIn.
Lese Esther who transferred her studies from Vaal University of Technology, South Africa to Redeemer’s University, Nigeria explained she recalled her struggles during her academic study. “Standing on that stage and giving the valedictorian speech, I was reminded of all the anxiety, fear and hope I had when I transferred to RUN,” she said.
“I was so scared that the three years I had spent sitting at home desperately looking for internship had made me lose my academic edge. Simultaneously I also reminded of the initial relentless determination to be a first class graduate of Industrial Chemistry in this second chance, no matter how hard the course was reputed to be in our faculty,” she added.
