A Civil Society organization SEDSAC has called on the CBN and federal government in particular to reconsider the hardship that Nigerians encounter as result of fuel scarcity and lack of adequate redesigned Naira note in the hand of it’s citizens.

This call was made by the executive director of the organization Comrd. Umar Hamisu Kofar Na’isa in a press release made available to the journalists on Monday to mark the 6th, years anniversary of SEDSAC.

According to him, ” No one should conspire to take advantage of the current social and economic turmoil as manifested by fuel scarcity, change in currency denominations etc to instigate violence in the land.

Accordingly, the people should immediately report any suspicious character or movement to security agencies in line with the civic responsibilities of the citizens.”

Nai’sa also urged the federal government through central bank of Nigeria to regulate the national monetary policies that would ensure the availability of the new redesigned naira notes and ease the hardship on the cash withdrawal limit in order to stimulate national economy.

He finally advised well-meaning Nigerians to mobilize masses to vote for credible persons into political offices that could salvage the country from collapse.
