The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kano State Command, has arrested one Zahradeen Mukhtar, 22, for allegedly vandalising and stealing window burglary shields in a Mosque.

The Corps Public Relations Officer, DSC Ibrahim Idris-Abdullahi, announced the arrest in a statement on Tuesday in Kano.

He said the suspect was arrested with arrays of sliding window burglary shields belonging to Dawakin Tofa central Mosque.

“The suspects concealed the stolen burglars in a large sack and were being conveyed to the market when operatives of NSCDC intercepted and apprehended him,” Idris-Abdullahi said.

According to him, the suspect had confessed to committing the crime and will be charged to court after completion of investigation.
