In its course to rid the state of all forms of social vices and criminality, the Nigeria Security Civil Defence Corps, Kaduna Command arrested and paraded numbers of suspects who have committed different forms of crime found in various locations in the state.

The command confirmed six of the suspects were arrested for vandalizing the Kafanchan, Kachia railway line, three for rape, making nine suspects in all

Parading them before journalists, the state commandant of the NSCDC, Nurudeen Abdullahi, said the command has made successfully arrests and charged before the appropriate agency in the last few months, the top is the high profile case of rape recorded in the state.

“Today, we are showcasing nine suspects, six of which are vandals of the railway line in Kafanchan, Kachia, and also three rapists were arrested within Kaduna metropolis

“Already, it is on record that Nigeria Security Civil Defence Corps, Kaduna command has recorded successful arrests from 1st October 2020 as follows; Five cases of vandalization of critical national infrastructure, which are in federal high court in Kaduna state, including cases from national Eye center, Nigeria railway operation, electric cables and installation”

All the vandals were arrested in the state with buses, the property of the railway line.

He added that “30 cases of rape and homosexuals were recorded, investigated and transferred to the Ministry of Justice, Kaduna State for legal rights, among other illegal acts recorded by the state command”.

Also, cases on drug trafficking and abuses were not spared by the state command, Abdullahi explained they have been transferred to the appropriate agency.

The commandant noted that investigation is underway for the nine suspects paraded, and would be charged to court in due course

He said the command is ever committed to always make an arrest of all forms of criminality until the state is free from such acts.
