The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Kano State Command has returned multi-million Naira equipment stolen during the recent nationwide protest in Kano.

The recovered items, which include two Cisco switches worth over N400 million, computers, air conditioners, executive chairs, and law publications, were handed over to the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) and the Kano State High Court.

The items were stolen by hoodlums from the NCCโ€™s Digital Industrial Park and the State High Court at the Audu Bako Secretariat complex.

The NSCDC’s Critical National Asset and Infrastructure (CNAI) department successfully recovered the stolen goods shortly after they were looted.

Mr. Aminu Suleiman Birnin Chido, who received the items on behalf of the NCC, expressed gratitude to the NSCDC, praising their swift and effective response. He emphasized the importance of maintaining the strong relationship between the two organizations.

A representative from the State High Court also commended the NSCDC for their patriotism in safeguarding public assets.

Commandant Mohammed Lawal Falala reaffirmed the NSCDCโ€™s dedication to protecting critical national assets and infrastructure across Kano State.
