The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Lagos State on Wednesday said adequate measures had been put in place to ensure that prospective corps members posted to the state are comfortable.
Mrs Yetunde Baderinwa, the State Coordinator, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that Livful Company Limited, donated 3,000 mosquito repellents to the management.
Baderinwa disclosed that the items would be distributed to the 2024 Batch A, Stream 2 prospective corps members who have started arriving and undergoing registration in camp ahead of official swearing-in.

“We really commend Livful Company Limited for the donation of mosquito repellents, it will go a long way to protect the corps members from mosquito bites,” she added.
The state coordinator said that the Lagos Camp is expected to accommodate no fewer than 3,000 prospective corps members for three-weeks mandated NYSC orientation camp programme.
“We’re mindful of their wellbeing, in addition, the camp environment have also been fumigated and the idea is to make sure that our prospective corps members are comfortable.
“Prospective corps members posted to Lagos have started arriving the camp today and we are delighted to have them because everything is ready to make them comfortable.
“The camp officials are also living up to expectations and that will continue until the last corps member arrives the camp and all get the NYSC kit and settles in their various accommodation space,” she said.
