Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, popularly known as Oga Sabinus, Mr Funny, or Investor Sabinus is a Nigerian comedian, actor and skit maker who has made waves in the Nigerian entertainment industry.

Sabinus Early Life and Education
Sabinus was born in the year 1995, he was raised in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. Although, other sources claim the comedian was born in 1991. He had his early education in Rivers State before he acquired Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistics and Communication Studies from the University of Port Harcourt.
Sabinus Comedy Career
At a tender age, Oga Sabinus discovered his talent as a comedian when he used to make his family and friends laugh with his comedy. That made him popular among his peers. He advanced in comedy in his university days when he did Stand Up comedy in his school’s Student Union Week and was subsequently convinced that he has sufficient talent to make it big in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
He delved into full-time comedy in 2015 and his career went to mainstream media in 2019. He was nominated in the 2021 maiden edition of The Humor Awards Academy alongside fellow comedian Basketmouth since then, he has witnessed an unprecedented shift from stand-up comedy to digital skit-making. Ranked as the country’s third largest entertainment industry.
He became a social media sensation and bagged several endorsement deals after his “something hooge” phrase went viral.
