Kano state governor, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has condole with the government and people of Ondo state over an attack by suspected gunmen at St. Francis Catholic Church in Owo, Owo council of the state.

In a statement issued by the commissioner for information, Malam Muhammad Garba, the governor called on the federal government and the various arms of security to work in synergy.

He also called on the relevant security agencies in the country to spare no effort in tracking down the perpetrators and ensure that they face the wrath of the law.

“My deepest condolences to my colleague, His Excellency Rotimi Akerolodu, the government and the people of Ondo state.

Our thoughts and prayers go to the victims and their families who lost their loved ones in the attack,” the statement added.

The governor further called for concerted effort to deal with the prevailing security challenges in the country.
