On Saturday, Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, met with Muhammadu Sanusi II, the former Emir of Kano.
According to Obi, who tweeted photos of the meeting, they discussed “national interest, nation-building, and the broad concept of diversity, education, social inclusion, the economy, consumption and production patterns.“
In a Twitter Post he said: “I met with my dear friend and brother, HRH Sanusi Lamido Sanusi. We spent time exchanging views on matters pertaining to national interest, nation-building and broad concept of diversity, education, social inclusion, the economy, consumption and production patterns.”
