The Osun State Police Command and local hunters have busted an all female armed robbery gang in Osogbo.

The suspects, who are all teenagers, were arrested after robbing a resident of an undisclosed amount of money on Monday.

According to information obtained by DAILY POST, the teenage armed robbery gang gained access from the window into the house of an aged woman and stole money she kept at home.

Eyewitnesses revealed that the girls, ranging between 14 and 16 years of age, were masterly in their operations adding that the elderly woman only raised an alarm after one of the girls mistakenly stepped on her in their attempt to flee.

It was also revealed that the continued shouting by the woman alerted the hunters who rushed immediately to the scene and arrested one of the girls.

After her arrest, she led the hunters and the police to the other two members of her gang at Plugin and Sasa.

Meanwhile, the Police Public Relations Officer of the Command, Yemisi Opalola in confirming the incident stated that all the girls have been arrested and handed over to the anti-cultism unit for further investigation.

Ahmed Nureen, Chairman, Hunters Group of Nigeria, Osun State Chapter, also confirmed that his men were part of the team who apprehended the three female suspects.
