According to him, the initiative highlights the police force’s ongoing commitment to the welfare of its personnel and their families.

“The presentation of cheques to the beneficiaries is a clear demonstration of the Inspector-General of Police’s commitment to the welfare of police personnel and their families,” Dogo stated.

He further explained that the financial support is intended to ease the burdens faced by the families of deceased officers who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving the nation. “This assistance should be used wisely to bring comfort during these trying times,” he urged.

Grateful for the aid, the beneficiaries expressed their appreciation to the Inspector-General of Police, vowing to put the funds to good use during their time of need.
