“In anticipation of this event, the Command in collaboration with other sister security agencies, has put in place extensive security measures to safeguard lives and property.

“This includes the deployment of tactical teams, uniformed and plainclothes personnel, and intelligence assets to protect areas that may be vulnerable to potential disruptions,” he said.

He urged the conveners of the protest to provide their details to the command, adding that such information should outline the routes; assembly points and expected duration of the protest,

“As well as measures to prevent any criminal elements from hijacking the peaceful protest”.

While reiterating commitment to protect lives and property, Wakil warned against acts capable of disrupting relative peace in the state.
