Kano state governorship candidate under Peoples Redemption Party, PRP Hon. Salihu Tanko Yakasai says he is optimistic that people of Kano state would come out en-mass to vote for him as Kano State governor, in the upcoming governorship election, on Saturday.
This was contained in a statement signed by spokesperson of PRP gubernatorial candidate Suhaib Auwal Gwagwarwa, and made available to newsmen in Kano.

According to Salihu Tanko Yakasai, before they embarked on the journey, they went round the state and interacted with people, especially in the rural areas, where they identified the problems bedeviling the development of the state, and areas that require urgent attention.
Adding that “we come up with our manifesto based on such findings, and we are first to unveil the manifesto and upload it to our website which clearly explains how we intend to transform Kano State, shows our readiness and willingness to move the state forward as soon as we win the election.
“From what we saw during our campaign and rallies across 44 local governments of the state, people are tired of these parties APC, PDP and others, and they are ready to vote competent candidates regardless of their parties.”
“I am optimistic that people will vote for me alongside our house of assembly members because we are going to work together to change the narrative of the state.”
Salihu Tanko Yakasai thanked his party leaders, supporters, family friends and well wishers for their support, prayers and encouragement.
He called on the good people of Kano state to come out peacefully and vote all PRP candidates because they are more qualified and competent than others.
