The Kano state Commissioner of Education, Muhammad Sanusi Sa’id Kiru has appealed to parents/guardians to ensure that their wards have returned to school on time as disciplinary actions await defaulters.
The Commissioner in a statement issued by the Ministry’s Public Relations Officer, Aliyu Yusuf pointed out that all boarding school students are to return to their schools Sunday 16th May while Day schools students are to return to their schools Monday 17th May 2021 respectively.

The commissioner explained that the ministry has made adequate arrangement for school monitoring to ensure compliance.
He stressed that government will not fold it’s arms seeing students returning to school as they wished, hence the need for them to be law abiding.
The commissioner added that the government is committing much resources to facilitate good learning and teaching environment, therefore, there is a need for a reciprocating gesture from the parents by ensuring that their wards are going to school as stipulated.
