Cristiano Ronaldo, the Al Nassr striker, has pledged never to play for another European team again.
After his contract with Manchester United expired in January 2023, the 38-year-old moved to the Middle East.
It effectively ended Ronaldo’s career at the highest level after more than two decades.
Before moving to Saudi Arabia, the Portugal captain played for Sporting Lisbon, Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus.
Ronaldo has been linked with a loan move back to Europe, but he has now put an end to such speculation.
“I’m not going back to European football; the door is completely closed.”
“I’m 38, and European football has lost a lot of talent… “The Premier League is the only valid one; they are far ahead of all the other leagues,” Ronaldo stated.
