Sen. Aliyu Wamakko  (APC-Sokoto North Central), on Tuesday condoled with the people of Illela and Goronyo communities in Sokoto State over the killing of 13 persons by bandits on Monday.

The bandits also kidnapped several persons, including four women from the two communities on Monday.

“Wamakko described the attack as ungodly and prayed that the perpetrators would not go unpunished.

“He extended his deepest sympathies to residents of the two communities,’’ Bashar Abubakar, his Special Assistant on New Media, said in a statement issued on Tuesday in Abuja.
