Former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo was among the dignitaries who arrived in Kano to attend the wedding of Dr. Aisha Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, daughter of Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the 2023 presidential candidate of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP).

The ceremony took place at the palace of the Emir of Kano.
Obasanjo was received at the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf. He was seen dressed in white attire, complemented by a red cap.
Also present were Vice President Kashim Shettima, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, former Senate President Bukola Saraki, and Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
Prominent figures, including former Speaker of the House of Representatives Aminu Tambuwal, former Katsina State Governor Dikko Radda, Muhammad Abacha, senators, and ex-governors, were also spotted at the Emir’s palace.
The bride, Dr. Aisha Kwankwaso, tied the knot with Engr. Fahad Dahiru Mangal, son of well-known business mogul Dahiru Barau Mangal.
