Three persons have been crushed to death in a ghastly motor accident involving a trailer and a tricycle in Kogi State.
According to DAILY POST, the incident happened between Ajaokuta/Lokoja expressway on Tuesday.
It was further learnt that the rider and the two passengers on the tricycle died instantly, while the truck driver took to his heels.

The Kogi State Chairman, Tricycle Owners Association of Nigeria Branch, (TOAN), Comrade Ahmed Sediq confirmed the incident during an interview on Wednesday.
Sediq described the incident as terrible, adding that, “the trailer was coming from Lokoja, along with Salem University while the tricycle was coming from Elete.
“Unfortunately, the truck lost control from his lane and crushed the tricycle rider and two other passengers”.
He called on the government to look into the bad portions of the road to reduce the loss of lives in the State.
