Dr. Yusuf Ibrahim Kofar Mata, the newly appointed Kano State Commissioner Ministry of Higher Education, identified indolence, mistrust, and insincerity as major factors impeding any society’s development.

He thanked State Governor Abba Gida-gida for selecting and appointing him as Commissioner for Higher Education out of millions of people in the state, emphasising the importance of concerted efforts by all and sundry to rally around the current administration in order to achieve the desired objectives.
Earlier, the ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Dahiru Adda’u, congratulated the new Commissioner on the well-deserved appointment, noting that Dr. Kofar-Mata is an academician at one of the state-owned universities.
The permanent secretary then assured the Commissioner of the ministry’s entire staff’s loyalty and cooperation.
