Kylian Mbappe has been told to leave Paris Saint-Germain after the Ligue 1 giants crashed out of the Champions League to Bayern Munich on Wednesday night.

PSG lost the first leg of the round of 16 game 1-0 at home and had a tough task ahead of them in the second leg tie in Germany.

Carragher said he was delighted to see the French side crash out of the Champions League.

Goals from Eric Choupo-Moting and Serge Gnabry completed a 3-0 aggregate win for the Germans despite Lionel Messi and other players creating a lot of chances.

“I’m delighted PSG have gone out, I just don’t like the whole set-up, everything about it,” Carragher said on CBS Sports.

“It’s not a team, it’s just a mess. Honestly, Kylian Mbappe has got to leave that club.”
