Nollywood has lost one of its veteran actors, Ayobami Mudashir Olabiyi, famously known as “Bobo B.”
Daily News 24 reports that the actor passed away following a prolonged illness, which had confined him to the University College Hospital (UCH) in Ibadan, Oyo State.

Olabiyi, who was a notable figure in the Yoruba film industry, had been serving as the National Secretary of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN).
His death was confirmed by TAMPAN’s Oyo State governor, Yeye Bose Akinola, who shared heartfelt condolences to his family and the entire film industry.
Olabiyi’s contributions to Nollywood and his leadership within TAMPAN have left an indelible mark on the industry.
He will be remembered fondly for his talent, dedication, and service to the arts. May his soul rest in peace.
