Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived in Benin City for the grand finale of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship campaign rally.
Shettima received a warm welcome from several dignitaries, including Governors Godwin Obaseki (Edo), Babajide Sanwo-Olu (Lagos), AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (Kwara), and Ahmed Usman Ododo (Kogi). APC National Chairman Abdullahi Umar Ganduje was also present.
The APC is optimistic that its candidate, Monday Okpebholo, will secure the governorship seat currently occupied by the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

Okpebholo is set to compete against the PDP’s Asue Ighodalo in the election scheduled for Saturday, September 21.
