The former Permanent Secretary, Federal Minister of Works and Housing, Alh. Babangida Hussaini has rained praises on President Muhammad Buhari’s administration for completing projects awarded by the previous administration.

Alh. Hussaini, a traditional title holder of Walin Kazaure, and an aspirant vying for the position of Senator representing Jigawa West Senatorial District made this known to newsmen.

According to him, some of the projects were awarded fifty years ago and successive governments were unable to complete them until the present administration came on board.

He said, “The administration of Muhammad Buhari succeeded in championing and executing capital projects which were in the National Budget and National Development Plan for over 40 to 50 years”.

He added that “Part of the project executed by this administration include the second Niger Bridge which has been in a state of dilapidation and in dire need of rehabilitation”.

Other projects Include Ibadan-Lagos Expressway which was implemented in 1976 during Murtala Obasanjo’s regime, but was mered by controversies, however the Buhari led administration resolved the problem and reconstructed the road which is already completed.
