Wikki Tourists Football Club of Bauchi on Sunday defeated visiting Yobe Desert Stars Football Club of Damaturu 3-0 in the 2024 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Wikii Tourists maintained its second position in group C with 26 points from 13 matches.
NAN reports that the match was played at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium, Bauchi.

Wikki Tourists Yusuf Mohammed opened scoring in the 11th minute of the game with a shot outside the 18 yard box.
Klinsack Wanbark made it two for the hosts in the 62nd minute of the match, while Promise Damola got the third with an assist by Sunday Joseph in the 18 yard box in the 70th minute of the match.
Mr Jupiter Ernest, Technical Adviser of Yobe Desert Stars in a post match interview, blamed his team for the loss.
“Normally in a match you either win or lose in this we have lost. I have identified our problems and we are going back home to ponder over it.
On his part, Wikki Tourists FC Technical Adviser, Mohammed Azeez described his player’s performance as fantastic.
“It was a great match, we earned three points and three good goals in spite the weakness,” he said
