APC youths have been urged to stand firm during the forthcoming general elections and support the All Progressives Congress APC.
The call was made by the APC Northwest Youths Leader, Abdulhamid Umar Muhammad during a joint press conference held in Kano State.
According to Muhammad, the presser was organized in solidarity to the APC Presidential Candidate, Bola Tinubu and his running mate, Kashim Shettima.
“This Press Conference is designed to show our total and absolute support to our APC Presidential Candidate and Vice Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kashim Shetima. To also show our support to our gubernatorial and deputy gubernatorial prospect candidates in Kano, Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna and Murtala Sule Garo. And to also register our support to all aspirants in the country.” He said.
“We all believe that we must copy from our father Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano state, in the area of youth participation in politics. We all believe that governor Ganduje is our true father who believes in developing youth in his government.
“With people like Bola Tinubu and Shetima, we rest assured that the future of our youth is secured. I have been going around my Zonal constituencies, and what I found was the total support our APC candidates have, especially among our youth population.
“This Press Conference is a reminder to all other opposition political parties that, youth from the Northwest zone have already decided to vote for progressive people and leaders who believe in human development at all stages of life.
“I have gone around some of the states under my constituency, to make sure that we put in place, a strategic plan with the sole aim of winning our elections.
“We are assuring our party, the APC, that youth will give them the needed votes and the needed support throughout this campaign season up to election time.
“At the end of our strategy meeting with youth leaders and stakeholders from the 44 LGAs and 484 wards of Kano State, we will come up with new youth-focused election-winning strategies.” He concluded.
