Commandant Mohammed Lawal Falala, who leads the command, stated that officers were drawn from 44 divisional offices, various departments, and specialized units, including undercover personnel. These operatives will provide security around Christian worship centres, recreational spots, and other strategic locations.
“In addition to ensuring security at worship centres and public spaces, our operatives will work in synergy with sister traffic enforcement agencies to ensure seamless traffic flow during the festive period,” Falala noted.
He added that the Corps has intensified 24-hour surveillance to protect critical infrastructure across the state, warning miscreants against any attempt to breach public peace.
“Anyone caught causing disruptions will face the full wrath of the law,” the command stressed.
